I am in the process of replacing the shifter tube on my 03 supercrew and when i removed the tube the pin that holds the selector bar on the far end of the tube is missing which explains a lot of the problems i was having. My question is, is the pin that holds that bar the same as the pin that holds the shift lever?, The shift lever pin fits snugly and looks to be the proper length. Reason that i ask is if i use the shift lever pin in the bar i can reassemble everything and when i get a new pin, which is hard to find, the shift lever pin is easily accessible with little effort.
