hello, recently I was thinking about this because of all the snowy weather that we've been having up here in the northeast. I have a manual transmission and notice there is no type of protection for the shifting linkage beneath the truck between the shifter and the transmission. I would think that with the exposure to the elements that this part would be very prone to deterioration.
