Default Shift indicater

I have searched u tube for the answer here. The shift indicater is totally to the right. I found the bracket was broken so I have a new one to replace it. The videos I have seen show how to do this.
I don't know where the wire hooks to that comes out of the wire. The one with a hook on it.
Anyone able to help me here
Thanks

I found where everything goes. How do I get the cable over to where it hooks. Is there something I'm missing

The shift tube was broken and has been replaced if that makes any difference.

It is easer to get to if you pull the shift lever down to low.

I pulled it to low but still a couple of inches short. Maybe the cable is routed wrong. Thanks
