I think its best to go at it again, but pull the circuit board loose. Last cluster I worked on was my wifes 96 explorer, wish I was more up to date for you. The key thing is a complete rip off. Am embarrassed by that.

 

Thanks Bill, i appreciated your help. I will give that a shot before buying another one. Hopefully someone maybe has had this problem before will post too. I couldnt believe it didnt have a accessible bulb when I seen it, who knows how it really works, huh. Thanks again Bill.
