will a rear bench seat from a 2003 extended cab fit a 1998 single cab?

It won't be a direct bolt in, And it is not full depth like the front seats.

That would be the most uncomfortable seat back ever. No angle at all. I can't see it as a viable alternative. With well over 5.5 million F series sold from 97 to 03, I'd say there has to be a seat out there for you better than the back for a front design use. That doesn't even include the Expeditions and Navigators.
