Default seat replacement advice

Long story short...My 1997 scab totaled(bent up left rear 1/4 panel and bumper all twisted) and in Florida once you settle with the insurance company they take your title and you can buy it back but only get a salvage title, and its hard to get insurance. It drives perfect but is cosmetically challenged. It has the leather 60/40 seats with fold down armrest. I have already found a replacement truck(1998 F150) but it has the captains chairs that are velour covered(I dont like them) with arm rests and the really low center console that is useless for resting my arm on. Would this be a easy switch out, bolt holes align, etc.? I used the search function but it seems that all were wanting to switch to captains chairs not the opposite. Thanks in advance for any advice.....

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't bolt up. Try it and let us know we will learn from you

^x2. Most here look to upgrade their XL bench to Lariat leather 60/40, with the fold down, and many have went with Expedition buckets (but the center console is too long). Enough members here have mixed and matched, so the bolt patterns should be the same. The only ones that will NOT fit are '04 and up, since they are too wide.

Any front seat from a 97-03 f150, 97-02 expedition, 97-99 f250, or 04 f150 heritage will bolt straight in
