Default Seat replacement

My '99 F150 has the front bench seat with the 70/30 split back. I can't find anyone locally to recover the seats, and can't find seat covers to fit. All I can find are for 60/40 split seats. I thought it might be just as easy to swap seats from a salvage yard, and maybe even swap to buckets and console. My problem is that I can't find a cross reference to find what years seats will bolt up, without doing a lot of drilling or making spacers to get the height right. I could do the work to make everything fit, but it had rather bolt it on, and go. I really don't want to double the value of the truck, just by adding custom seats.

Thanks,
John

97-03 f150 seats should bolt up if you are going with the same seat style.

I dont recall Ford offering a 70/30 split bench. All I have ever seen are Buckets, Captains, and then a 60/40 split bench. Pictures would be great.

Here's the best pic that I Gould get with my phone. It's a solid bench, with a 70/30 split back. I've tried some covers from parts stores, but all are 60/40 backs and don't fit.

Thanks
John

All the 60/40 covers that I've tried, are too loose on passenger side and won't fit over the drivers backrest.

It's a 3 door Super Cab, 5 speed, basic truck, vinyl mats.
