Hello fellow f150 owners, I have an sct sf3 for my 1998 4.6 and every time I program it the truck will try to stall out with any throttle I give it whether it's in park, neutral or in gear. Has anyone with an sct experienced this or have any ideas that might help me out. I've contacted sct's tech support and they haven't be able to help me out either. Thanks a head of time for any info.

 

Strategy tune or custom? Adjusting any options? Any modifications to airflow not listed in your sig?

 

Strategy tune. And it does it if I do or don't adjust anything and it doesn't matter what octane I set it at either. And no just the K&N intake but it will still do it if I put the stock air box back in also. I have no codes being thrown or any pending codes. My truck is all stock, engine wise also.

 

Any hint of this issue on the stock programming? Tried a new fuel filter?

 

No, when on stock tune the truck runs perfect. I have not tried the fuel filter but i replaced it a while back but it is getting close to replacing it again so I will try that.
