Hey im about to install a vortech supercharger on my 4.6 03 .. Im going to get thd programmer but getting it dyno tune.. Which is the 1 to use sct x3 or sct Sf3....??

Only difference between the X3 and the SF3 is the SF3 has preloaded tunes from SCT already on it and the X3 does not. Other then that, they are exactly the same. And since you are getting a dyno tune ( which is good, that's what you need for your setup ) either one will work for you just fine as both can upload a custom tune. Holds up to 3 custom tunes, plus the stock tune ( which the SCT unit will automatically save when you reflash the PCM with the custom tune )

 

My x3 had preloaded tunes, I had custom tunes made for my escape, I have the sf3 for my truck, I find it has a few more options than the X3
