Does anyone know if this app really works, or have used it? The app is free but the wireless OBD- ll for it is almost 500 dollars. Or would it be better just to get a regular programmer.

 

Depends on what you want to use it for. I think the price is a bit high for being wireless but I also have a SCT X3 and Livewire to use as well.

 

My wireless OBD II cost me 15 bucks

 

Where did you get yours at

 

Ebay, they range from 15-30 and they give u a cd but if u connec tit to your phone u wont need the cd. The only problem i had with mine is figuring out the code to connect to my phone but after 1 min of looking on the internet i found the right one. also it really slowed my phone way down so might want to watch that but i was running the program that shows ur rpm and ****.

 

So would the SCT tune app work with it?

Myself I ha e iPhone and searched sct and it came up sct performance. Hope this helps. It's free.

 

It is only for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
