Never. That is a bold statement. You're only 16. You need to be aware and awake 100% of the time. You never know when you will need to react defensively.

Bradon. NO EXCUSE!!! Man, you're very fortunate to still be alive! One of my nephews was killed in August - the same way you had that accident! There was a broken down utility truck right where he swerved off the road that he hit. He was 24. He had many dreams for his life. A very hard worker and a good boy. But - HE FELL ASLEEP WHILE DRIVING!!!

Listen y'all. I'll shout again - NO EXCUSE FOR FALLING ASLEEP OR DRIVING AND DRINKING!!!

NO txtng either. Wha'ever it is. Look boys, we must be careful! I do not want to hear of one of our forum members being killed in their truck!

Dagnabbit, this makes me mad. I'll go cool off a bit. Love y'all boys, even though this is the only place I know ye. I'm old enough to be ye grandpa.

Unfortunatly tackle, that's how it is. When your road just goes straight at the same speed, you go into an "auto-pilot" mode if you will. I think all of us has been there, except all mighty tackle I guess.

I guarantee EVERY ONE of you ***tards giving this kid **** has driven while intoxicated at some point in your judgmental life too.

Hey kid... get checked for sleep apnea or some other sleep disorder. It's common.

Look at these numbers --> http://www.cdc.gov/features/dssleep/

No, no, no. Doctors don't know what they are talking about. All it takes is self discipline; I read it online somewhere.

Not that I'm giving this kid crap but I have positively 100% never drove intoxicated. Making a statement of fact as you have is moronic.

Part of the problem these days is these kids think the can stay awake round the clock or just get a few hours sleep, then chug a couple energy drinks and power through another 20 hours. This is foolish and stupid, first of all these energy drinks are terrible for your heart, secondly they've proven that to much caffeine will actually have the opposite effect over time. Your not doing yourself or anyone else a favor by stretching yourself thin and it will and does catch up with you. If your lucky you survive and hopefully so do the people around you when it happens.

Depends on the person too. I average 3-4 hours of sleep a night and work harder than most during the day and I'm completely fine. Hell when I had a week off I got 45 minutes of sleep in 3 days and was completely fine.
