Default Rusty Bed Support Rails

Some of the "Hat Channel" steel rails that support the bed are showing rust. What are the best products/methods for cleaning, treating, painting, whatever, to stop the process?

por15 is the best from what I've heard as a coating. clean it any way you want.(wire wheel,sand blast, sanding wheel)

Check out Monstaliner. They have a product called "Chassis saver". People on Jeepforum use it, and I hear it's better than POR15.
