I recently purchased my 02 f150 and it has a shift kit installed. I want to buy an edge evo but wasn't sure if I could leave the transmission shift firmness at the stock level when increasing the power levels or if the transmission settings were automatically adjusted with higher power levels. If possible, I'd actually like to make the transmission shift a tad softer, is this possible? and is there anything wrong with adjusting the transmission through this programmer even though it's firmer shifts are originally changed through the shift kit?

This is for a 4.6 motor if it makes any difference. I'd be interested to hear any feedback on this model 85150 on this motor/year range.

Truck is stock, only has gotts mod done.
