Hey y'all

I got a 06 F150 with a 5.4L and when I have my truck in park it idles rough, the seats vibrate. If I put it in drive it goes away. No check engine light, spark plugs and coils have been done less then 15,000 miles ago. Any ideas? It's very annoying. I know it's a common issue or a "ford thing."

I realized I had posted it in the wrong year and couldn't figure out how to delete it! Lol! I'm aware that the 97-03 F150s with the 5.4L are the 2v, and the 2004-2010 are the 3v. Again sorry about that!

 

I have an '02 4.6L that did the same thing.

Turned out to be the pcv hose had failed and it didn't take long for a hole large enough to stick the end of your finger in.

I realize the differences in years and engine size matters in a lot of areas but....won't cost anything but time to check it.
