I have a 2001 F150 V6 with 223K miles when the truck is up to temp. idle is fine but when I give it gas and go the truck runs rough. i can hear pop when driving when i give it gas. at idle little hesitation when i give it gas

I'm having a similar issue. Does your roughness occur at any speed? Any check engine light activity? If so, have you any codes? Maybe we can work htis through together.

 

It happens at all speeds, but not at idle i got a service soon light turned on then turned off have not checked for engine codes yet i will check tonight if i can find my code scanner
