roof leak

Personally, I would install that top trim and will it with urethane. Clean the hell out of it with alcohol or acetone first for a good bond.

The rust seems to be everywhere. Where do you live to get that much roof rust. I have personally never seen a GEN 10 roof rust in Alaska. Weird it's on top.

I live in Florida. And the truck has been here it's whole life. That area and a very small place on the rocker is the only rust.

You seem to have a tough repair. I would do the same, to put a SS mesh backing and cover it with a rubbery layer (UV liner is rubbery I suppose) before putting the glass back. I hope all goes well.
