Default rocker panel replacement

My question goes out to those of you who have replaced your rocker panels. Mine are rusted out, I cut out as much of the rust as I could and put a sheet of metal on with rivits then covered it with a crap ton of Bondo sanded it down smooth and had it painted. But now here we are just a few months later and the bondo is cracked and the rust is coming back which I new it would just not this fast. I was wondering who has replaced their rockers, how hard was it, and about how much did it cost?

Any help would be great, pics also
Thanks!!!

Are your inner rocker panels ate up as well? There should be no rivets. If you don't already have them you need a new outer rocker or two. . mock up and trim accordingly. Mark were the new one fits with a sharpe. start drilling spot welds dead center with an 1/8" drill. Follow up with a 1/4" or a bit larger.. Cut were you marked or put the new one on and cut through the new and the old ones at the same time with a fiber wheel or air saw. Your old one should come out and the new should fit perfect. Weld in.grind Mud. Sand. Prime. Sand again. Sealer. Base coat. Clear. Easy as pie.

Thanks for the offer man but I don't even know if I'm going to do this. I'm just trying to get a little info on it. I found a really good thread on it after I started this one. Right now I don't have the funds and plus the truck has other needs before that happens. But thanks for the offer.
