Default rocker Arm Replacement

What's involved in replacing the rocker arms on a 2002 5.4 f-150?
During re-assembly, do I need assembly lube? Special tools?

Thanks!

YES! Don't skimp out of assembly lube. Buy some decent stuff. I will also have some oil around during the process. What rocker arms you putting in? Ford Performance?

Default rocker are replacement

Thanks Tex! I was planning on replacing them with sealed power. Checker also offers Melling as a replacement at more than twice the price. Checkers warranty on the sealed power is 90 days. On the Melling, one year. Odd, but Napa offers a one year warranty on the sealed power. My truck is just a stocker. Do you recommend the Ford Performance rocker arms? Is that a dealer only item? Also, where can I purchase the spring compressor tool to pop them in and out? Thank you so much.

You can rent the spring compressor from autozone or oreilys for free
