Default Retrofit help

So I ordered these projectors

And it said that they will fit 9007 bulbs.
So I ordered 9007 bulbs but these ones had a low beam with it.

So after messing with the bulbs I figured out that you can take off the low beam bulb

So now these fit inside of the projector. But the problem that I have is that when my low beams are on I won't have any light because I took off the bulb. So I was wondering if I could re wire the hi beam hids in to the low beam spot on the plug and wire the cutoff for the projectors in to the hi beam spot in the plug so when I have my lows on the hids will be on and when I flip my hi beams on the little cutoff thing inside the projector will flip up allowing for all the light to pass through.

Never seen those projector. And if they call for a halogen bulb number they are designed for halogens.

When I bought them it said they were for hids and when I took the halogen bulb off the my lights so just the hid bulb was left. It fit fine inside the projector.

1) Just because they say they are for HID's doesn't mean they are made for HID's.
2) Based on the build quality I'm going to guess that was a low cost projector and not one designed for HID's
3) Those bulbs you have are setup with a HID as the low beam. The halogen is the high beam (yes, the halogen is the HIGH beam and that should tell you all you need to know about the HID portion of that setup).

Not trying to be Buzz Killington but if you've read any threads on HID conversions there is a right way and a wrong way. Some guys tend to take the low cost hackjob approach personally as it puts others at risk. I warned you already in the other thread you started but once again....

He has no clue what he's doing. Sigh. He won't learn either. I hope I'm wrong but he will just come back with comments that make him look like an *******. And not come out learning something.

So where did you get those projectors. Any links to them?
They should use H1 bulbs if they are true HID projectors. It looks like there is a solenoid in the projector, so it should work with a H1 HID. With HID, the high beam is activated by the solenoid (only 1 bulb is lit all the time, the solenoid just blocks part of the light).
Have you read the HID retrofit thread here? Lots of info there.

OP ignore all the stupid comments and check out the thread listed here from blupupher.

The HID's you have look interesting. The projectors looks exactly like my MH1's I got on clearance at www.theretrofitsource.com

Just because your HID's have a halogen for the highs doesn't necessarily mean they are garbage. I have seen that before in the past, the halogen bulb hits a different part of the reflector and works good for "flashing" as you don't want to flash HID's. However, those still look complicated and don't look plug and play at all. The only way you're going to get your HID's to work with the high beam solenoid is with a wiring harness that you can find in the aforementioned thread and website. Best of luck to you

Thanks for the info. My bulbs came with a harness

I look at a few harness like you said and I couldn't tell if this is the same or not. It has a relay and a + and- battery and ground contacts. If you could let me know if this is the harness that would be great. Thanks!
