Default Resonator deletion

I want to delete my resonator for obvious reason but i want it to sound beefier, but I still need to be able to have it pass emissions what's a good way to do this. If it were me I would just cut the resonator and weld a straight pipe on. Any help would be appreciated

Nobody here is going to know your state laws. The resonator has zero effect on "emissions". It is merely a sound altering device.

But yeah, you need to look up the laws for your area. I know it is legal here to remove them.... but cant vouch for other states and jurisdictions.

Like Whitey said, depends on where you live if you have to have it or not. It is just a sound reducer more than anything else. It just changes the tone note from raspy to what you have now, mellow. Other than that, no real other purpose.

What resonator? Do you mean "muffler?"
Straight-piped, I think these trucks sound like crap. Get yourself a 14" Magnaflow instead.

EDIT: In Georgia, it is not legal to run without a muffler (or to use "turndowns." From THIS PAGE: "(1) The exhaust system shall include the piping leading from the flange of the exhaust manifold to and including the muffler or mufflers and tail pipes;" There is also wording prohibiting a "muffler which causes excessive or unusual noise," which is. of course, subjective.
