Ok so here is my situation, I have a 2000 F150 with and my driver's side door is completely rusted out. It is the style with the handle above the armrest.
My question is if I can make a door with the earlier style handle below the armrest work on my truck? I know it will bolt up obviously but is there anyway I can make my current door panel work on the earlier style door?
The reason I ask is because I have a door that is the same color as my truck in perfect shape but it is the older style. I have been looking for a door that is the same style as mine but for some reason I cannot find them at any junkyards or on craigslist at all.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
