My 4x4 indicator bulb burned out on my 1998 f150. The one underneath the left center heat vent, inside the switch. I removed it and found no numbers. Has anyone replaced this before and where can you get a bulb like this.

 

I'm not sure of the bulb type myself, but take the bulb into any auto parts store (Autozone, Advance, O'reilly's, etc) and they should have it.

I went to napa and carquest. No luck. Called 2 dealers and both said the bulb is only available with the switch. $85 for a bulb? I will be at the salvage yard soon!
