replace window regulator

I need to replace my manual window regulator on my 97 F150. It looks fairly straightforward - has anyone done this themselves, and would you recommend I do it myself or have a mechanic do it? Thanks - CDF

You will need a rivet gun that will shoot a 1/4 rivet to start with. Most people don't have one of those laying around.
