Removing backseat

Default Removing backseat

I have a supercab and i was wondering if anybody can tell me how to remove the backrest in the back seat of the cab
I'm looking to mount a amp behind it. Thanks.

Unless you are crafty its hard to mount a amp back there. Prolly have to cut out some of the steel bracing on the backrest itself.

Pull at the top corner of one side (takes alot of force) and then pull toward you. Do that to both side. THen you need to pull at about a 45degree angle to get the bottom latches out.

Okay thanks a lot. I am looking at putting a larger amp to power the Alpine type rs you recommend because I don't feel like a power pack is enough for all 4. What are your thoughts? Otherwise I was looking at some rockford punchs with 65rms. Those are considerably cheaper

Just pull the loop belt, one is near the center seat belt to fold frontwards the back seats. It will make it easier to see all the bolts holding the seat in place
