Remote start help!
Hey everyone I just installed a remote start in my 1997 F150 and I'm having a few nit picky issues. Here's what the problems are:
1. I don't have running lights when I believe I have the right wire. (The solid brown wire on the back of the light switch)
2. I can't seem to fine the dark blue wire for the horn. There's a million blue wires under here.
3. When ever I remote start the truck I can't shut it off with the key.
I.e. *Remote start* *put key in and put to on* then I go to turn off the truck via the key and it doesn't shut off.
There are two yellow wires that connect to 2 red wires. The two yellow wires are connected together from factory so I connected both red then connected them to the two yellow. Does the 2 yellow wires need to be seperated?

These things can have lots of possible functions, usually only a couple are used.
There is often configuration setup programming needed to make functions work.
Sometimes different models from same mfg dont support same things, even though a blanket manual covers all.
What model and brand might help someone help you. Or not.
