Hey guys, I'm having problems with the remote keyless entry and dome light not working. 2002 F150 Everything worked perfect until about 3 months ago. The keyless entry stopped working and when I open the driver door, the dome light will and door ajar NOT come on. But when I open the passenger door, the dome light and door ajar on the gauge cluster WILL come on. The dome light will work if I manually use the switch if I'm on the driver side. The chime when the key is in the ignition or truck starting no longer works. Not sure if it may be the driver side door jam switch or the remote keyless/ anti theft module may be messed up.

Try recycling the key and see if it goes into lock mode. If it does, just hit a button on the fob and the doors will work again. They sometimes can lose memory and do what you are describing. If it doesn't reset, then the box may of gotten wet or the GEM and that will need to be cleaned (at least or replaced).
