Regular Cab Lowering Questions
Hello,
I have a 1998 2wd shortbed STX that I am looking to lower and plan on adding the 20" Lightning Replica wheels. The truck is stock ride height.
I am looking for a slight raked look, but lower. What lowering kits/methods do you recommend? I want it low, but dont want to airbag it or destroy it.
I was looking at the DJM3097(4/6 upper/lower control arms and a flip kit for the back) but am concerned that this will make the truck to level.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about lowering these trucks. I have a lifted XL Sport reg cab but I've heard the djm kit is alright. To help with handling, Hotchkis Suspension makes several sway bar kits for for lowered, lifted, and stock height 10th gens. I'm wanting to get obviously the kit for lifted trucks to see what it's like. Not only does it come with a redesigned front sway bar but it also adds a rear sway bar which is pretty cool. I think you should check it out if you lower yours.
Not that popular anymore, I think it totally ruins the truck, function and looks. It's to each their own type thing. Should be sites on line that are more into that sort of customizing I expect. Have you had any luck with that?
