Default reducing sound

Have a 97 ex cab and feel the road noise is high. Has anyone done any sound installation?
What'd you use?
How effective?
Where did you put it?

You'll want to install Dynomat or some other similar noise suppression system between your floor and your carpet. Hopefully one of the audio experts will chime in with more information. My brother and I did his '72 Monte Carlo with it and it made a huge difference in the amount of road noise coming into the car.

Install a louder muffler and you wont hear the tires ever again.
