Let me start by saying that I don't like the grille on the 2009 or 2010. But then again, I really only I like the front of the 80s F150s.

Anyways I was driving, when I saw this for sale.



I stopped and asked. It's apparently a 2002 with a modified recessed lights. For whatever reason, this I really likey.

Anybody know where such kits are available?

It superficial, I have the cash to buy a 2010, but will go after a used one just because of the grille.

 

That is not a modification. That is a work spec "XL" trim truck. No mod needed just find one in a junk yard. Here are a few more examples. This is still offered on the XL's but only in the Super Duty.

what model is that last truck you listed? 2wd Work truck. What's great is I'm looking for .vinyl floors and roll up windows anyway, but don't want white.


I can't get google images to list these trucks?? Nor can I find any within 500 miles of me on Craigslist. I have seen them on the road. I like the model with smaller grill and single lights like the one I listed, but don't need 4x4. What years will I find these in?

your looking at two diffenebt models the truck with the recessed lights is a F250 and the red truck that you got there is a F150. NO way to get theat front end unless you upgrade to a 3/4 or 1 ton. sorry to burst your bubble.

 

Oh.. so that front only comes in F250? Are you saying all these white trucks are F250s? Is there such a thing as an F250 short bed short cab?

 

yes sir but they do come in black and grey if that helps those trucks are the base model they might have power doors and windows but not likely

 

are you sure the one you put up is a f150? it has the locking hubs, grille, engine badging and tow hooks of a f250
are you actually considering getting a 3/4ton truck over 1/2ton just fro the lights?

No not at all, I have to believe as stated it is 250. Nah, I barely need a 1/2 ton. Just think that grille and hood is MUCH nicer looking. Reminds me of the 1986s which I like so much.
