First off, thats a friggin' sweet looking rig.

I wouldnt do too much with it. Maybe black chrome the exhaust tips, ditch the fx4 decals and paint/ powdercoat the rims u have, to keep with the murdered out look.

good call on the tips, i was thinking about that but dont know how to go about it. their welded on so i couldn't really spray the tops and their stainless steel so would i scuff them up a little? with what grit? and what kind of paint? i thought about the decal and taking that off but i dont know it kinda seems like it should be there. how would powder coating the rims change the appearance would they just be all black and what does that run for pricing? any pics of power coated rims would be nice to see if anyone has any...

do some research and find a paint that does well on hot surfaces, scuff it up with maybe 320 grit (just a guess) then clean and paint. sell the rims you have now and but some 16-17" black steel rims, 9-10" wide. or look at the fuel rims, hostage, octane, boost, whichever they have pretty nice black wheels.

found the lugs, ordered the center caps and the rims should arrive on monday. pics will be coming soon!

now for the exhaust pipes any advice for painting them while still on the truck? anyone know of some high heat paint to use? and after i scuff them up do i prime them first? also theirs some rust, minor surface rust. mostly discoloration... is their a product to remove it?

other opinions are welcome!
