Default Rebuilt?

Anything I can look for that might tell me if my engine has been rebuilt? My truck has almost 250000 miles on it and runs perfect actually it runs just as good if not better than my grandpaws 02 4.6 with 130000.. I know this is pessimistic but I can't believe an engine with this many miles would have no problems leaks or burn any oil.. so I checked to see if the engine was replaced but the sticker on the valve cover is from 2000 so it looks like original engine but then I thought well maybe it was rebuilt? But aside from ripping it apart is there any signs to look for that might say it was rebuilt?

A compression test will tell you if the engine is healthy ...or rebuilt

the 4.6 and 5.4 are tough *** engines! They will go 400,000 miles if you just keep up on the oil. just look at the crown vic taxi's !

Haha yeah it runs good and Im not treating it like a old lady either lol (well not all the time atleast lol Gas is expensive)... I beat my Chevy lovin uncles *** His 96 Chevy 1500 was no match when we put em side by side lol.. Thats what kinda got me thinkin about it being rebuilt.. I figured with 250000 on the clock it would be showing signs of wear and tear or atleast be worn out but its running strong
