Default rearend

i have a 1997 150 4x4 and i need to increase the payload rating in my rearend. would it be better if i got add-a-leafs and helper springs, or found some 3/4 ton leaf aprings and just swapped them out? or would that even work?

rough country AAL's worked good for me....I'm sure the helper springs would help to.I was at autozone the other day and they had some pretty cool overload helpers there for a resonable price.
