My rearend went out today driving down the road and it sounded like I ran into a tree @ 50 mph. It has been acting up for the past 6 months so I knew it was coming but not so soon, plus I got 7in of snow on the ground outside so I don't need to tell you im pissed. I currently have 33-12.50 Mickey Thomson Baja ATZ and was thinking about changing the gears out to get better m.p.g. but i'm not sure what gears to get or if it's even worth changing the gears out. Should I just replace the entire rear end or just change the gears out. Please respond ...... 2003 f-150 Styleside 4X4 4.6 Please Help

Rebuild the front and rear-end's and throw some 4.10 gears in it. A limited slip for the rear wouldn't be a bad idea if you do any off-roading as well.
