Sorry, must've hit share on the ad...if it's wiper seals there should be three...drivers side, top, and bottom. Mine is that way at least, but mine is the other type of slider that doesn't have a trim lip around the outer edge of the window(the one next to the rush logo on that vid...)

Ok, yeah, I saw that one, but I don't think that's the answer for me - I have two undamaged seals lying here that I just can't figure out how to reinstall.

It's almost like they don't actually go to this window, but I found the one on the backseat one day, right below the window, and the other was in the back wall storage area, again right under the window.

I have one as well...I still think it goes between the window and the headliner... Has a soft rolled front right? It sorta fits...

Yeah, I just found a clue in another thread here:

It looks like the longer, bare edge (without that fuzzy material) is sticking outside the truck against the glass - so do they glue on like this?

If yes, are there really just these two or should there be four?

Thankfully you made me look closer at mine...there is a wiper seal on all four sides. When checking, I found this:

Isn't leaking a great deal, but I figure I'll fix it anyway.

Unfortunately, you have the other type of window, with the band around the edge, so I'm not sure if they're gonna be the same with regards to seals.

I can't really tell what's different between yours and mine but it sure would make sense for it to have seals all the way around.

Mine only has the outer plastic trim around the square center pane of the slider whereas the one in the picture you posted has a band all the way around the whole window that is integral with the center slider trim plate. I saw it on the one I installed for my friend. I didn't see any differences in wipers though, but I wasn't looking for it.

The edges of my outer panes are not trimmed and simply have a rounded cut to the glass like a side window does. Like I said, not sure if the seals are different between the two but mine has a wiper blade on all four sides.

Is this seal on the latch side homemade?

Yeah, that's totally homemade. AutoZone tried to push that stuff on me too because it was the only thing that popped up on their screen.

I had grabbed some wiper blades from the junkyard when I had watched that video, but didn't need them when I went to install. I will say they (the seals on mine) look just like the wiper blade rubber, so I don't see why the wildman approach wouldn't work.

The blade should point toward the slider so it wipes the slider and be mounted in the outer trim square. That's what I can see by looking.

I'm looking for two more at the junkyard (so far there's not one truck with a sliding window). Today I glued in the two I have, as I guessed above, because I figure those plus the aftermarket seal is a hell of a lot better than nothing at all. When I find replacements, I'll do the other two and ditch the aftermarket seal, and if I was wrong, I'll just have to start over.
