the correct way to do it is by taking of the window. take left and right panels of remove the back seat if needed the pull down the top part just enouth to get to the nuts the nut sizes are 9mm it has about 12 nuts 4 o top 4 on the buttom and 2 on each side. good luck.......

I ran a bead of black silicone around the third brake light. No leak since.

Purchased the 3/8 butyle rubber from Napa yesterday..$18.00..must have went up.. I now understand..thought seal would be some sort of flat gasget material. pulled the window out tonight, hardest part was getting all the interior trim off...then it was a piece ot cake. Window and trim piece separated easily. Destroyed foam rubber gasget between trim and window..hope to get that tomorrow. I can now see Easily were original seal did not contact frame of truck and was leaking badly. Cleaned all parts thoroughly and hope to put back together tomorrow..
Got her put back together today except for interior trim..want to make sure leak is fixed first. Hose test OK. Drove 40 miles this evening in a terrential downpour...NO LEAKS..Yeahhhh..Thanks again for your help.. Tom
