Do it yourself with butyl tape, there are plenty of how to's on these forums. It's not difficult.

Don't use silicon I have heard it will not stop it. Fix the leak properly with butyl tape from naps got it for I think bout $20. Easy to fix it yourself. I got a single cab and all I had to do was take headliner down and then take the nuts off the bolts and a little prying and the rear came out easy. Like states before me plenty of other treads of how to do it. Use the search feature toI find them that's what I did.

I had the same issue and was told by the glass guy that 98 thru 01 trucks had issues with the window frames cracking. Mine was cracked and I ended up payin 225.00 to have a new factory slider installed. Silicon didnt work for me. If I had it to do over again I would have installed the window myself cause it osnt a hard job to do. Good luck to you

MY buddy has an 03 f150 and his back window was leaking as well. I had some black silicone around the house so i let him use it. The leak was right next to the rear end light on the cab. It sealed the crack and he hasnt had a leak since. maybe he got lucky
