Default Rear differential question

Hey guys i have a question about my rear diff. Its a 3.55 and the door jamb sticker says (axle 19) so i'm guessing its an open diff. Well i was messing around in the back yard a drove up on a dirt pile and the right rear wheel is off the ground and i start spinning then 5 seconds later i felt a thump then the driver side wheel is spinning so i'm just confused with what kinda diff i have.

You are correct 19 is 3.55 open. Did the drivers tire pull you off the pile?

Maybe your spiders got hot and welded in place. No lube in the Axle? No LOL intended.

Look at the little metal tag on one of the capscrews. It will tell you what you have. Picture looked like the gear assembly with with cross pin and keeper missing. Is it broken out in there somewhere.
