Default Rear diff shifting.

when ever i take off or brake, the rear diff shifts(or pivots, what ever you want to call it) any ideas on how to stop that from happening? the owner before me put blocks in the rear, would that cause this to happen?

Yea, putting blocks on the rear axle can cause some axle wrap.. You could try making sure the U-Bolts are as tight as you can get them, but to completely make it go away you might need some ladder bars. It's just a fact of lifted trucks.

i think they are only 2 inch blocks, is that high enough that it would have that problem?

Any amount of lift blocks changes the U-joint angles. So when you get on the gas it wants to torque the diff to make the correct angle. It's not really anything to worry about though.

Another choice is to put in addaleafs and take the blocks out. Talk to a local 4x4 shop and see what it would take to equal 2 inch blocks. That will help alot. Other than that ladder bars are the way to go.
