I have tried looking on here but can't find out how to tell if I have the 8.8 rear end or the 9.75 rear end. my best guess is the 8.8 is a 10 bolt on the cover and the 9.75 is 12 bolt. please correct me if im wrong.

 

that's correct. If you have a 7700, it'll be 10.25 but also 12 bolt.

 

Thanks a million so i got the 8.8 10 bolt pan. Now i just wish it was disc brakes lol
