Default Re-gearing question

So I've been hearing a lot about Re-gearing trucks to make up for lost mileage. Can some one tell me more about this please. And I'm running 285/75/16 grabber at2's on my 01 4x4 so would I need to do it? Thanks

no you don't need to regear running 33s, anything over 35s then yes its alot better for the tranny.

yea your're perfectly fine, though if you want to do some towing and don't have a towing package I might consider doing it. I've also heard that it can really help your acceleration, but I'm not sure about this.

It can help the acceleration, but will lower the top speed in each gear.
