Default Rancho Steering Stabilizer Problem

This Tuesday I recently installed a rancho rs7401 nitrogen charged steering stab. on my f1, and so far it appears the shock is so strong it has thrown my alignment off and it will pull the truck left if I straight the wheel, so now I have to actually keep my wheel turned slightly right to drive straight or it tracks to the left, have you guys ever heard of something like that? Btw it's a 97 f150.

Since its a charged shock its gonna want to push itself to the extended position. I installed a standard absorber on mine with no problems.

Yeah I'd be fine with the pull left only but the off alignment part is what's really bothering me, think I'm just gonna take it to buddy's shop today and put it on the alignment rig and see where I'm at.

Shouldn't be out of alignment assuming that you've not hit any large pot holes or bumps and your front end components are in good shape. If a shock has enough force to affect the actual alignment, you've got other more serious problems going on.
