Question Radio Question

Hello everyone, I'm thinking about swapping out my stock radio for a new nicer one. I was just wondering if I could put a touch screen one with usb ports, navigation, and bluetooth in my truck would this work or not. I know that the new radio must be the same size as the old one or it wont fit.

Sure will fit. There may be some minimal trimming though. Ive seen some threads on here about large head units going in.

Front view and side view.

Not too hard a job. If ya have a dremel it's easy to do the trimming.

You will need a harness plug in to adapt your new head to the old system, otherwise you will have to cut the original wiring, and that's a pain. Good luck with the addition.

My personal opinion is dont cut the original unless you plan on soldering and shrink heating alot! I had to do that to repair my harness because the previous owner cut out the harness.
