My factory radio harness got cut when they stole my system ... all the wires are there and when i hooked up the new clip nothing happened. even with the factory radio ... checked the fuse it was good ... does anyone have the diagram for the radio harness showing the color codes maybe i can give it direct power? any help would be appreciated ... thanks

 

What do you mean by nothing happened? Did you hook the radio up too and it didnt come on? If you havent tried rewiring the power and ground try that.

Is it a replacement ford harness or are you going direct to the radio? Sometimes the harnesses are bad. Last time I put a radio in I had to return it.

 

Hi: You should get an after market wire harness from metra it has the color code on the bag for the new harness. the part # is 71-1770. If your going to use an after market radio you need another harness also part # 70-1770 they plugin to each other. You can check the speakers with a 1.5volt battery A tester would be good for the voltage wires there are two one acc. & one to the battery.
