I have a 2004 ford f150 heritage I have to replace the radiator but I can't get the transmission cooling lines off, they're those 'quick disconnect' lines. The normal tools won't fit because of a little ring about 1/2" away from the connector. Any ideas on how to do this? Any special tools or do I have to just man handle the disconnect tool in there?

 

You're going to want to get the good spring loaded disconnects.
