Default Quick question please

99 f150 2wd I want to instal lift shackles do I need to replace the shock absorbers or could I just buy a front and rear set up KYB and be good? Or leave the stock ones on.

You need to get shocks to match your lift. Even if you only lift your truck an inch or two, your stock shocks could go out of their effective range, which would effect your ride quality.

Ok I have decided since my truck is 2wd I am not going to lift it to extreme but I will take out my 2wd shocks and install the 4wd set since they a longer then the 2wd and just but the adapter so everything fits the way it is suppose to
