i found a guy that lives a county away with a whole set of expedition seats and console for reallllly cheap.. the guy doesnt know what he has.... my problem is that i have the floor 4x4 shifter... is there ANYWAY i can make this work. like would it fit.. any modifications etc...

i noticed that the long piece of it "pops" out so if i wanted to put it in 4x4 i could just pop the cover off and wa bam...

That's a good question. I'm in the same situation as you, I can find them things everywhere for dirt cheap but I have a manual tcase

 

I thought I seen it done somewhere. I'll check my links I have saved when I get home.

Sorry guys cant find the damn thing. I think that he just cut the plastic skeleton inside like this picture and could access it by just poping off the top cover. Its just held on with clips.

 

Hmm, I think I'll start shopping around and might give it a shot. all I'll need is a passenger seat, the console, and brackets. Ive always wanted one of these

 

I am going to be doing mine this winter, but I dont have a floor 4x4 shifter.
