Default Quick question about E-fans

ok i know that there are a few people on here that have done the e-fan on their trucks. so i was looking around to find the answer to my question and couldn't find any thing.
ok i have a 98 5.4 and am wanting to get an e-fan on it but i dont know how much cfm it needs to be? i was thinking two 16" fans that each are rated at 3000cfm i assume that would be enough but thought i would get on here and make sure.

At 3000 cfm each those will flow enough to keep things in check. Make sure you get a good controller to go with it.

I've done a bunch of efan conversions. On a daily driver, I wouldn't bother. It really is a hassle. You have to figure out if your Alternator can handle it first of all. The truck comes with a pretty decent alternator, so you're probably ok. Get the amp load of those fans before you install them. I've had some trouble with efans burning out too. They aren't as reliable as the stock mechanical fan.

I loved the Efans on my 91 5.0. but I had troubles with mudding and Efans, they don't like it to much.
