When removing the rubber part from the fender well do I just pry it off with a screw driver cause I noticed I can't just pull it out. TIA.

 

I just used a pair of pliers and tugged on it and it came out.

 

I figured it out. There were two clips to pull out at the bottom of the part the filter the sits in. Once I pulled that out all was good. I only have a few inches for the 3 in or 4 in pipe to go. Haven't got the pipe yet. Just took that crappy part out of the wheel well for now. I'll continue when time allows. I'm sure it'll breathe easier as it is. It doesn't get too hot in that part of the bay. Thanks
