Question on doors
So a while back when starting to rehab my 2000 Scab, I discovered that the window track had ripped the bolt right out of the inside of the door panel. I did some reading and found the reinforcement panel that can be installed, but I also noticed the exterior of the door is cracked near the bottom rear corner of the window. So I figure the best way to go is just grab a door out of a junkyard.
My question for you more experienced and knowledgeable F-150 owners is this. Are the doors the same for power vs. manual windows & locks? I have power windows and locks, so can I buy a manual door and switch over my electrics, or are the doors fundamentally different inside? I don't have a problem spending the money on a door with electrics, but you never know what you'll get at the u-pull-it yard, so I'm also open to grabbing a manual if someone can confirm it will work.
