If it winds up being rodent damage, I hope it is minimal. I've seen some videos of some pretty messed up vehicles.

EDIT: Looks like AK knows which wheel in the above post.

The ABS wiring runs up under the battery and plugs in to a plug on the inner skirt. Everything could be right there in that harness area. Something could of rubbed the wires, rodents, battery acid leak? I'd look there for wire damage to start

Thanks everybody for all the help. It's raining outside now so I will have to wait a little bit till it stops to get on this. I guess it is easy enough to trace down the ABS lead on the right front wheel (C1222). That was the wheel that got hit 4 years ago. But since we haven't had any issues till now, I am thinking it is more likely a little Willard rodent got in there since the truck was parked for a few months.

Could use some advice though on what do I look for & how do I trouble shoot the ABS Power Relay Short Circuit to the Battery (C1115)? Or is it something I should just replace?

One more tidbit I will mention, which is probably not related, but you folks would know best so I'll list it: Yesterday, when I went out to the truck to move it, i hit the unlock on the remote fob. The door locks unlocked as they should, but then immediately re-locked??? I hit the remote again, and the same thing happened. Several times. I finally just unlocked the drivers door manually, got inside and the problem stopped. Once I got the truck running, I drove it around a few blocks and the problem did not reoccur. I am more inclined to believe that this is the result of a really old remote and battery.

Thanks again for all the help, advice and suggestions - and please keep it coming!

Old----pull your owners manual and turn auto locks off.

If you don't have one, you can download one free here from Ford
